I wrote the text one morning, about a month ago. I was just scrolling down my Facebook wall, and the number of dogs in need of a home were so many, that I just felt helpless. New rescues and adoption albums keep popping up every minute; you don’t know what to share, where to help and how to make things better. Continue reading Dear Mum – A Happy Dog Behind A Sad Story
Grooming is one of the things us volunteers have to do. It might not be the typical grooming, as you have it in mind (like preparing a Poodle Standard for a dog show for example), but the results can be unbelievably amazing – and we are given a chance to even have fun! The deadline is in two days, May 25. Continue reading Killer Rottweilers On Death Row Up For Adoption

I had been following the Save a Greek Stray Facebook page for a couple of years. I used to volunteer at another organization, but the SGS posts were so jaw dropping that every time a new photo made it’s way to my facebook wall I couldn’t help but thinking: “oh, if only I was there, if only there was something for me to do there”.
