Stray dogs have to talk eventually. I mean, they need to! They deserve a syndicate or a party of their own, that represents them in Parliament. Ok, some of us serve as their voice, but if THEY could be the ones doing the talking, it would be… ah… priceless.
So, if Pirate could speak, he would make a ridicule of all us humans
To cut a long story short, Pirate was a stray somewhere… ehmm..it doesn’t really matter. It’s probably one of those neighborhood in Athens, Greece, where the people keep their sidewalks clean, their plants watered and their heads empty.
He was “accused” by someone of being aggressive (HAHAHA!!), he was collected by the municipality and was officially labeled aggressive. And having the “aggressive” label on him for no reason, he was going to be put to sleep.
And having the “aggressive” label on him for no reason, he was going to be put to sleep.
The only reason he was not put to sleep, is because he was taken in by Save a Greek Stray. He had a bad injury in his eye, so it was removed, and now he has a permanent blink, that makes him even more adorable – or, if you wanna see the glass half empty, he has one eye.
Pirate is the opposite of aggressive – unless you consider him licking your face every chance he gets some sort of aggression
Now, let’s go back to the “aggressive” accusation. Here’s one way to put it: some people suck. Pirate is the opposite of aggressive – unless you consider him licking your face every chance he gets some sort of aggression. I may understand that the fact that he was extremely affectionate was annoying to some “humans”, but calling him dangerous and aggressive should be punishable somehow.
The “aggressive” accusation almost cost him his life, and this is not a joke. And the truth about Pirate is so far from it, that it makes the whole thing..I don’t know, it makes it look illegal – it should be illegal.
Pirate is the sweetest, most loving dog ever. He is the kind of dog that follows you around, puts his head in your arms and strays there while you pet and pet and pet. He is the dog that will come whenever you call him, that will sit beside you, that will lick your face, and wag his tail and love you unconditionally. He is amazing. He is the cuddly type, and his size makes him look even more adorable, when he cuddles next to you looking at you with all the love in the world in his huge, beautiful eye.
Pirate is nine years old and he deserves a home. We owe him a happy ending. And if you have any doubts about adopting a nine year old dog, don’t, because Pirate can be the puppy you always dreamed of, with all the advantages that come with adulthood, and he will adore you since the first moment he lays his eye on you.
*Oh, I almost forgot! he always smiles (but I guess that’s obvious)
