I had been wanting to do this for so long. This is the second one of these videos and making them is probably a way for me to “get it out of my system”. What happens here in Greece every single day can never be covered by my daily blogs or a rescue video I upload per week.

Lazy is an understatement when it comes to Mrs T. Her story is kind of sad, not that she remembers any of it or that she’s affected in any way by what happened to her.

Elsa and her sister (whose name I never remember) we rescued in Athens, Greece, in winter 2017. Believe it or not, the two girls were found abandoned on a mountain (!). No I am not joking..

Stray cats are the best survivors I ever met, and when they want something, they will get it, no matter what. Simone was a stray cat, living in the streets of a suburb of Athens, Greece, who wanted more out of life. Continue reading Stray Cat Needed A Family, So She Followed Home A Dog
Rescue dogs are not sad, miserable creatures. Most people tend to think that rescue is one sad thing to do and adopting a shelter dog involves problems, sorrow and pain. They couldn’t be more wrong. Once a dog is rescued and recovered, he can range from funny to hilarious, and make us volunteers laugh a lot, every day. Continue reading Penny For Your Thoughts – Inside A Rescue Dog’s Mind
Recovery for some rescue animals can be a slow and painful procedure, both for them and for the volunteers. It can take long visits to the vet, extra care, and waiting. Robocat is what we call him, because in rescue, the best thing you can do is stay positive and always look on the bright (and funny) side of things. Otherwise you risk ending up in a psyche word. What we see every day is just too much to handle. And when people ask how do we deal with it, the answer is not always easy to hear. We deal with it laughing. At least I do. I laugh a lot. Dog’s minds are simple and easy to read, as long as you know your dog – and I know Apollo. He is my first rescue dog, and a lot more. A friend once called him the cartoon dog, and she was right. There is something adorably funny about him at all times, and since he’s my favorite boy, who even has his one playlist in my Youtube channel, he deserves another post. So, here are some of his special thoughts captured on camera! Continue reading Dog’s Mind – Inside Apollo’s Thoughts
