Sam was hit by a car on Valentine’s day, 2017, in one of the busiest avenues of Athens, Greece. A girl saw him crawling and screaming from the pain, minutes after he had been ran over and abandoned, and SPAZ, the local charity, took him in.

Couple Adopts A Dog Nobody Would And Brings Her Back To “Life”

Shadow was rescued in Greece in December 2016, juts a few days before Christmas. She had been spotted by a SPAZ volunteer a few days before, in the outskirts of Athens in terrible condition, living as a stray and feeding off corpses to survive.

Sam’s story started four months ago, when he was found by a SPAZ volunteer dragging himself on the side of the road. He had been hit by a car weeks before probably, he had gone through the terrible pain and the agony on his own, struggling to stay alive, to find shelter, food and water, with his legs smashed and his spirit crushed.
