Greek DA Defies The Animal Welfare Law Simply Because She Feels Like It

Greek animal welfare is like…what Rubik’s cube is to most people: it’s obvious that it can be done, and once you are almost there, a piece (of shit) comes along and spoils the whole structure, obliging you to take the whole thing apart again. Stray Puppy Goes From An Empty Beach To Her Dream Home

Stray dogs are probably millions in Greece, and given the fact that the mentality here will not be changing anytime soon, there will be millions more to come in the next years. My Blue was one of the million strays out there, when I first saw her in August 2016. Continue reading Stray Puppy Goes From An Empty Beach To Her Dream Home

Fostering Peak – Five Dogs In An Apartment

Fostering is a way of life, and once you go down that road, there is no turning back. I didn’t really know what I was doing the first time it happened. Being involved in Animal Welfare in Greece is never easy, but dealing with mass murder every day can make you sick. Continue reading Murdering Greek Strays In Larissa – Nominated European Cultural Capital of 2021

Animal Lovers Run A Marathon To Raise Awareness

It was the first time I joined the Penny Marathon this year, but it definitely won’t be the last. I didn’t run, but next time I will. I didn’t have my Penny Marathon T-shirt on, but next time I will. I won’t be wasting your time trying to describe what the experience is like and what running for the animals feels like– the video covers all five hours of our journey, from the first meeting point to the finish line. I will just try to answer briefly any questions you might have. Continue reading Animal Lovers Run A Marathon To Raise Awareness
