Rescuing An Orphaned Baby Bird – Guess Who Couldn’t Care Less

Rescuing was always about private initiative I guess. Some of us have a soft spot for cats, dogs, baby birds, turtles..whatever. So, you rescue one, then another, then you meet some people who feel the same, make an organization, rescue some more, get organized and then the state comes along and says: “I couldn’t care less about baby birds, but since you do, here’s some money. You do the hard work and I act cool and generous”.
