At One Third Of Her Ideal Weight, Sick, Broken And Half Blind, It’s A Miracle That She Is Still Alive

Rescued a few days ago from the streets of Pyrgos, in southern Greece, this girl is now fighting to get her life back.

I could go on and on about cases like these, and usually I do, but this time I am just out of words. To answer most questions, yes she was once someone’s dog, maybe she was abandoned before or maybe after she got so sick, and yes people are THAT indifferent to animal suffering.

The little girl is very young, no more than three years old. She hasn’t eaten for who knows how long, she is probably also sick, she has lost one eye, probably to an infectuous disease, and she only walks on her front legs.

She has the most adorable face and she is a sweet, loving dog. I am sure she is amazed at the care she is receiving this last week. Looking at her makes you wonder how is it possible that she is still alive, but she is.

She has a long journey ahead, a lot of tests to be done, treatments, xrays, vet visits. Hopefully she can make a full recovery, find a good home, and spend the rest of her life forgetting what people put her through.

For now, her health is a priority. If you wish to help the rescuers, please make a small donation for her. She hasn’t got a name yet, so we are open to suggestions (contact Andrew here)!
