Greece is a country of 11 million inhabitants, and only one city, Athens, the capital.  Thessaloniki, the second biggest “city” is trying its best to resemble A city, but it isn’t really. Athens is home to about 6 million people – more than half of the entire country’s population. Athens is where you find jobs, hospitals, art and facilities, and the rest of the country is where you find nothing really.

This is What Will Happen To A Greek Stray If You Don’t Rescue It Today

I came across this story yesterday and since then I haven’t really been able to sleep – a dog was chained in a field and the shot in the head by its owner. As gruesome as it may sound, t’s not something rare or anything – stories like these are an everyday thing. But the thing about this particular story, is that it happened in the village where I spent my summer vacation last summer.
