There is a lot I could say here, but this time I won’t. I wish there was a way to explain to dogs why their lives have ups and down and why things change.
Oscar for me was love at first sight. There was just something about him, no idea why, but he has been one of my favorite boys at the Save a Greek Stray shelter. He is the love of life, happy, sweet, tender and always ready to follow, play, have fun.

Dog rescue for us living in the city is tough, but for the volunteers in rural Greece seems almost impossible. I always admired the rescuers there, constantly fighting against things we take for granted, trapped in societies that seem to be dating back to the 50s.
Greek ridiculousness has no limits. When the corruption reaches the levels of a sub-Saharan African country (no offense), and when every government official can do whatever he wants to, simply because…he can, the innocent pay the price and the frustration reaches unprecedented levels.
